Make and Take Tuesday: Herb-Infused Vinegars

From salad dressings and spritzers to bath and body care products, herb-infused vinegars are versatile, easy to make, and delicious! They also can be a simple and effective way to incorporate healthful and helpful herbs into our everyday lives

In this class we will talk about the unique extraction properties of vinegar, different applications for everyday life, and which herbs love to be extracted this way. We will also discuss some common kitchen herbs and their medicinal properties. Participants will blend their own custom apple cider vinegar infused with fresh herbs to take home. Expect to leave with a renewed appreciation for this timeless kitchen staple and lots of recipes to try!

$35 includes all materials and refreshments.

The greenhouses after hours are a magical place to be. All is quiet, cows are grazing in the distance, and we have wonderful views on our special hidden patio. Bring a friend or two and make this a special evening. We will supply light refreshments. If you would like beer or wine, feel free to BYOB.

Instructor Bio: Sophie Cassel is an herbalist, gardener, teacher, and Red Wagon Plants delivery driver. She is currently finishing her clinical internship at Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism in Montpelier. Sophie is passionate about bringing the magic of herbs to everyday life and loves helping people make friends with the plants.
